All photos in this article are taken by me. Feel free to ask me more information about the photos!
This is Meganebashi, which means "Spectacle bridge". It looks like a pair of spectacles(glasses), right?
From May to June, we can see lots of hydrangea around this bridge! Soooooo beautiful!
I like this park in Nagasaki, which is called "Nagasaki Seaside Park". Sometimes I can see a large cruise ship from here. Someday I want to board such a ship and travel around the world!
This is my favorite shrine in Nagasaki. The name is "Suwa Shrine" and it's well-known for a main place of the local festival, "Nagasaki Kunchi".
Nagasaki is in Japan, but there's a chinatown! This is one of the three main chinatowns in Japan.(Others are in Yokohama and Kobe.)
This slope is called Oranda-zaka, which means "Holland Slope". Nagasaki had important roles about international relations in the past, so there was relationship between Nagasaki and the Netherlands.
If you are interested in Japanese films, I recommend you to watch "Abashiri bangaichi: Bôkyô hen(1965)". In this film, you can see the protagonist starring Ken Takakura walking here. Takakura is known for the Ridley Scott 1989 film, Black Rain. This film was shown more than 50 years ago, but there's just little change here!
This is Oura Church(Oura Tenshudo). One of the two most famoust churchs in Nagasaki.
The other one is Urakami Church(Urakami Tenshudo). This church was destroyed by an atomic bomb in 1945, and after was rebuilt.
This statue is called "Peace Statue". It's in the Peace Park in Nagasaki. As a citizen from Nagasaki, I hope the world is peaceful.
This GREAT VIEW is from Mt. Inasa. You can see the whole main city of Nagasaki!
